Physical properties
Hardness: After quenching, the hardness can reach HRC 58-65, depending on the heat treatment process.
Tensile strength: Generally between 800-1200 MPa, the specific value is related to the processing state of the material.
Elongation: Usually between 10% and 15%, indicating good toughness.
Wear resistance
MN13’s high manganese content gives it excellent wear resistance and can maintain a good service life under heavy loads and wear environments. It is suitable for buckets, mining equipment, crushers, etc.
Impact resistance
Due to its high toughness, MN13 can withstand large impact loads and reduce the risk of brittle fracture. This makes it suitable for use in environments where impact and wear act together.
Heat treatment
MN13 can be adjusted to its hardness and strength through different heat treatment processes (such as quenching and tempering) to meet different usage requirements.
Application areas
Mining equipment (such as crushers, mills)
Metallurgical industry (such as casting molds, wear-resistant linings)
Construction machinery (such as buckets, bucket teeth)
Petroleum and chemical industries (such as pipelines, valves)
Welding performance
MN13 has good weldability and can usually be welded using methods such as argon arc welding or arc welding.
