Self Drilling Anchor System
Self Drilling Anchor System is mainly composed of hollow anchor rod body, nut, pad, connecting sleeve, centerer and drill bit. Self Drilling Anchor System integrates drilling, grouting and anchoring functions. It is suitable for broken and difficult-to-drill surrounding rocks. The casing wall is omitted during construction, which greatly improves the construction efficiency, shortens the construction period and reduces the overall construction cost.

Self Drilling Anchor System integrates drilling, grouting and anchoring functions. It is suitable for broken and difficult-to-drill surrounding rocks. The casing wall is omitted during construction, which greatly improves the construction efficiency, shortens the construction period and reduces the overall construction cost. The hollow anchor bar body can be cut arbitrarily and extended by connecting sleeves. Therefore, Self Drilling Anchor System are suitable for construction in narrow spaces where large equipment cannot enter.
Self-drilling anchor rods can be used for various slope support, foundation pit support, tunnel pipe shed support, foundation support of transmission towers or wind towers, etc., foundation support of transmission towers or wind towers, etc., and repair and reinforcement of existing buildings.
Working principle of Self Drilling Anchor System:
1. Drilling: Driven by a drilling rig, the drill bit drills into the rock or soil. Effective slag removal can be achieved during the drilling process to ensure a smooth and efficient drilling process.
2. Grouting: After drilling is completed, cement slurry is injected through the hollow anchor body. The slurry flows out from the slurry hole of the drill bit under pressure, fills the gaps in the rock and soil and solidifies to form an anchor body.

It is primarily used in fractured, loose, or easily collapsible strata where drilling is difficult. Typical applications include slope reinforcement, tunnel pre-support, foundation pit support, foundation anti-buoyancy, and mine roadway reinforcement.
1. Slope Engineering: The Self Drilling Anchor System is used for the rapid stabilization of steep, weak, or weathered rock slopes to prevent landslides, and is particularly suitable for water damage repair or emergency rescue.
2. Tunnels and Underground Engineering: Used as pre-drilling pipe roofs, anchor bolts, or system anchors, the Self Drilling Anchor System achieves simultaneous drilling and grouting in fault fracture zones, gravel layers, and other difficult-to-drill strata, controlling surrounding rock deformation.
3. Foundation Pit and Deep Foundation: The Self Drilling Anchor System balances earth pressure and restrains soil displacement. It can also function as a micropile or anti-buoyancy anchor (subject to bearing capacity design requirements), suitable for narrow sites or adjacent sensitive buildings.
4. Foundation and Special Structures: The Self Drilling Anchor System is used for tensile/pull-out reinforcement of wind turbine tower foundations, bridge abutments, and dam consolidation grouting, improving the overall integrity of the strata through high-pressure grouting.
5. Mine and Tunnel Support: In Class IV-V weak surrounding rock, the Self Drilling Anchor System replaces traditional mortar anchors, reducing borehole collapse and improving initial support strength and construction efficiency.
