Oil and Gas Transmission: API 5L X42 Steel Pipe is widely used in onshore medium- and high-pressure (typical operating pressure 6.3–10 MPa) transmission pipelines for crude oil, natural gas, and refined oil products, such as branch lines and pipelines in Class II and III areas. It is also used in some shale gas gathering and transmission projects or projects in cold regions (due to its good low-temperature toughness).

2. Water and Industrial Fluid Transmission: API 5L X42 Steel Pipe can be used for water supply and drainage, irrigation, chemical media (such as acid and alkali solutions, requiring corrosion protection), and urban gas distribution networks.

3.
