1000 Series aluminum sheet, also known as pure aluminum sheet, is represented by grades 1050, 1060, 1070, and 1100. Among all aluminum sheet series, 1000 Series aluminum sheet stands out for its high aluminum content, with purity reaching over 99.00%.
Due to its simple composition and lack of alloying elements, 1000 Series aluminum sheet simplifies the production process, resulting in affordable prices and a common choice in the industrial sector.
Currently, the most widely distributed 1000 Series aluminum sheet on the market are 1050 and 1060 series aluminum sheet. It’s worth noting that according to international grade nomenclature, the minimum aluminum content of 1000 Series aluminum sheet is determined by the last two Arabic numerals.

For example, the aluminum content of the 1050 Series must be at least 99.5% to meet the standard. Similarly, my country’s aluminum alloy technical standard (GB/T3880-2006) also specifies that the aluminum content of the 1050 Series must reach 99.5%. Similarly, the aluminum content of 1060 series aluminum sheet must exceed 99.6%.
