3003 Aluminum Foil as the Aluminum Honeycomb Core
The aluminum honeycomb core is made of multiple layers of aluminum foil bonded together and then unfolded into a regular honeycomb pattern. The honeycomb core base is a hexagonal core made of 3003 aluminum foil with a thickness of 0.02 to 0.06 mm. The honeycomb side lengths are available in 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, and 12 mm.
3003-h18 aluminum foil is used as the honeycomb core base, boasting significantly higher strength than 1100 aluminum foil. The finished product is resistant to deformation, has smooth end faces, and is burr-free. After lamination, the surface is highly flat.
