Product Description
Silicon steel coil refers to a silicon alloy steel coil with a silicon content of 1.0-4.5% and a carbon content of less than 0.08%, also known as electrical steel. Silicon steel coils have the characteristics of high magnetic permeability, low coercivity and large resistivity, so hysteresis loss and eddy current loss are small. Mainly used as magnetic materials in motors, transformers, electrical appliances and electrical instruments.
Silicon steel can be divided into two categories: oriented silicon steel and non-oriented silicon steel.
According to the manufacturing process and use, electrical steel can be divided into three categories: hot-rolled silicon steel, cold-rolled silicon steel and special silicon steel.
1. Hot-rolled silicon steel is non-oriented silicon steel and can be subdivided into hot-rolled low-silicon steel (motor steel) and hot-rolled high-silicon steel (transformer steel). Among them, hot-rolled low-silicon steel contains silicon between 1.0% and 2.5%, and is mainly used for household motors and micro-motors; hot-rolled high-silicon steel contains silicon between 3.0% and 4.5%, and is mainly used for transformers.
2. Cold-rolled electrical steel can be divided into cold-rolled oriented electrical steel and cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel. Cold-rolled oriented silicon steel is divided into ordinary oriented silicon steel and high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel, both of which are used in large, medium and small transformers; Cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel is divided into low carbon electrical steel (silicon content ≤0.5%) and silicon steel (containing Silicon content is 0.5%-3.5%). Low carbon electrical steel is used in household motors, micro motors, small transformers and ballasts, while silicon steel is used in large and medium-sized motors, generators and transformers. Judging from the above uses, cold-rolled oriented electrical steel is similar to hot-rolled high-silicon steel, both of which are used in transformers, while cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel is similar to hot-rolled low-silicon steel, both of which are used in motors.
3. There are four types of special-purpose silicon steel: cold-rolled oriented silicon steel strip, cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel strip, cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel for magnetic switches, and cold-rolled high-silicon silicon steel strip. steel. Cold-rolled oriented silicon steel strips are used in pulse transformers, magnetic amplifiers, high-frequency transformers and electric welders; cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel strips are used in high-frequency motors and generators; cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel strips for magnetic switches are used in relays and Magnetic switches; cold rolled high silicon steel used in high frequency motors, transformers and magnetic shielding.
