Features of 8006 Aluminum Foil:
Material Composition: This is a non-heat-treatable aluminum alloy, produced through a hot rolling process, resulting in higher elongation and cupping values than comparable products.
Processability: It can be processed through slitting and lamination, making it suitable for the production of wrinkle-free lunch boxes through stamping.
Thickness Range: Common specifications are 0.012-0.5mm (some manufacturers can produce down to 0.2mm), and widths range from 100-1600mm.
8006 Aluminum Foil is a specialized container foil product. It is hot-rolled and has a tensile strength between 123-135. 8006 Aluminum Foil meets water-brushing grade A, with a smooth profile and a clean, oil-free surface. 8006 Aluminum Foil is suitable for wrinkle-free lunch boxes. After stamping, it produces wrinkle-free edges and a smooth appearance.
The differences between 8006 Aluminum Foil and 3003 and 8011 aluminum foils are:
8006 Aluminum Foil is high-strength and is hot-rolled, while 3003 and 8011 aluminum foils are lower-strength and cast.
8006 Aluminum Foil has higher elongation and cupping values than 8011 and 3003 aluminum foils used for lunch boxes. 8006 Aluminum Foil’s tensile strength is 10 MPa higher than 8011 foil and slightly lower than 3003 foil.
