PPGI Steel Coils, also known as hot-dip galvanized color-coated steel coils or hot-dip galvanized Prepainted Steel Coils, are composite materials made from steel strips as the base material. After degreasing and phosphating, they are coated with organic paint and baked. They combine the mechanical strength of steel with the decorative properties and corrosion resistance of organic materials.

PPGI Steel Coils are widely used in the construction, home appliance, and packaging industries. Coating types include polyester (PE), silicone-modified polyester (SMP), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

PPGI Steel Coils can be categorized by application into building materials, home appliances, and packaging, with home appliance products having the highest processing requirements.

PPGI Steel Coils substrates are mostly made of hot-dip galvanized coil or electro-galvanized steel coils or aluminum sheets. Cold embossing technology enhances the three-dimensional effect, and the stability and environmental performance of the pretreatment solution are optimized to improve corrosion resistance.

The production process of PPGI Steel Coils involves roller coating and baking. Coating technology is upgrading towards functionality (anti-pollution, heat absorption) and environmental friendliness, and equipment is gradually becoming automated.

PPGI Steel Coils product specifications cover models 760-970, and installation methods include rivet fixing and self-tapping screw fixing. They are also compatible with engineering accessories such as ridge tiles and door and window cladding.

Features of PPGI Steel Coils:

PPGI Steel Coils combine the mechanical strength and easy formability of steel plates with the good decorative properties and corrosion resistance of organic materials. The material has good stability, strong corrosion resistance and compressive strength, and good high-temperature resistance. Its raw materials are environmentally friendly, and the production process is dust-free, making it environmentally friendly.

The main purpose of the coating is to form a protective film, giving the material resistance to atmospheric corrosion, pollution, color, and gloss. In special cases, it also has electrical insulation and fireproofing functions. Its anti-corrosion mechanism is to isolate the substrate from corrosive media through the coating, preventing chemical or electrochemical reactions on the substrate surface.
