Description
55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil, also as known as Aluzinc Steel Coil or Galvalume Steel Coil, is a high-performance metallic material made from cold-rolled steel sheet as the base material, with a double-sided hot-dip galvanized alloy coating containing 55% aluminum, 43.4%–43.5% zinc, and 1.5%–1.6% silicon.

Features of 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil:
1. 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil offers excellent corrosion resistance.
Aluminum forms a dense alumina protective layer (barrier effect), and zinc provides sacrificial anodic protection (electrochemical protection). The overall corrosion resistance is 2–5 times that of ordinary galvanized steel sheets, and it is guaranteed to be non-perforated for up to 20 years in a pollution-free environment.
2. 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil has high heat reflectivity.
The surface reflectivity to solar heat is >75%, twice that of galvanized steel sheet, significantly reducing building energy consumption and meeting EPA Energy Star energy efficiency standards.
3. 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil has excellent heat resistance.
It can be used for extended periods at 315℃ without significant oxidation or discoloration, making it suitable for high-temperature environments such as chimneys, ovens, and lampshades.
4. 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil is lightweight and economical.
Because the density of aluminum-zinc alloy is lower than that of pure zinc, it covers more than 3% more area than galvanized steel sheet for the same weight and coating thickness, resulting in lower unit costs.
5. 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil has good formability and processing performance.
It can be rolled, stamped, and bent without paint peeling or flaking issues (compared to color-coated steel sheets), making it suitable for forming complex components. 6. Environmentally Friendly and Pollution-Free
