Galvanized Rectangular Tube

Galvanized rectangular tube are also called flat tubes, flat square tubes or square flat tubes. They are hollow long steel strips with rectangular cross-sections. They belong to cold-bent hollow steel sections.

Galvanized rectangular tubes are made of strip steel. After unpacking, flattening, curling, and welding into round tubes, they are rolled into square rectangles. The surface galvanized layer can form an oxide protective layer.

The specifications are based on height, width, wall thickness and meters, and the pressure resistance needs to be tested by a water pressure test.

Galvanized rectangular pipes are mainly used to transport fluid media (such as water, oil, natural gas, etc.) and have structural support functions.

Classification of Galvanized Rectangular Tubes:

According to the production process, they are divided into two categories: hot-dip galvanized rectangular tubes and electro-galvanized rectangular tubes.

Hot-dip galvanized rectangular tubes are covered with a high-temperature zinc layer, which has strong corrosion resistance and is suitable for outdoor use;

Electro-galvanized rectangular tubes have a smooth surface but weak corrosion resistance and are mostly used in indoor scenes.
