Applications of Pipeline Steel Pipe:
Pipeline steel pipes are primarily used for long-distance transportation of fluids such as oil, natural gas, and water, and are widely applied in oil and gas trunk lines, branch lines, urban gas pipeline networks, and some industrial fluid transportation systems.
1. Energy Transportation: Pipeline steel pipes are a core material for oil and gas field gathering and transportation, and inter-regional long-distance pipelines (such as the “West-East Gas Pipeline” and the “China-Russia East Route”), transporting crude oil, natural gas, associated gas, and hydrogen-blended media.
2. Public Utilities: Pipeline steel pipes are used in urban gas distribution, water supply and drainage trunk lines, and heating networks (some corrosion-resistant or insulated pipelines).
3. Special Environment Applications: High-grade steel pipes (such as X65, X70, and X80) are suitable for harsh conditions such as deep sea, polar regions, permafrost, and acidic gas fields, requiring high strength, high toughness, and corrosion resistance (such as resistance to HIC/SSCC).
4. Industrial fluids: Pipeline steel pipes are used in chemical, power, and coal slurry transportation scenarios to transport non-corrosive or corrosion-resistant media (excluding special pipes such as high-pressure boiler tubes and oil well casings).
