Characteristics of 304 Stainless Steel Rod Bar:

It has outstanding pitting corrosion resistance but is susceptible to damage from high concentrations of chloride ions.

2. Heat and Low Temperature Resistance: Long-term operating temperature range is -196℃ to 800℃. It exhibits good creep resistance at high temperatures and shows no heat treatment hardening.

3. Magnetism and Machining: 304 Stainless Steel Rod Bar is non-magnetic in its solution-treated state, but may exhibit weak magnetism after cold working. It has excellent work hardening properties, good hot working performance (stamping, bending, etc.), and good weldability.

4. Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥620 MPa, yield strength ≥310 MPa, elongation ≥30%, reduction of area ≥40%, hardness ≤187 HB.
