Description

2205 stainless steel plate is an alloy stainless steel plate with a duplex structure, composed of elements such as iron, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. The name of 2205 stainless steel plate comes from the chromium and nickel content in its composition, which is 22% and 5% respectively. 2205 stainless steel plate possesses excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and good formability, and is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food, papermaking, and construction.

Characteristics of 2205 Stainless Steel Plate:

1. Yield strength of 2205 stainless steel plate can reach approximately 450 MPa, and tensile strength exceeds 620 MPa, typically more than twice that of austenitic stainless steels (such as 304 stainless steel plate or 316 stainless steel sheets), while maintaining high elongation, making it suitable for load-bearing components requiring lightweight design.
2. High toughness: 2205 stainless steel plate has excellent toughness, capable of absorbing energy under large impacts and deformations, avoiding brittle fracture.

3. High corrosion resistance: The duplex structure gives it better corrosion resistance, effectively resisting chloride ion corrosion and oxidation, maintaining the original properties of the steel for a long time. 4. No.1	Polished with abrasive belt of grit#100-#200, have better brightness with discontinuous coarse stria, used as inner and external ornaments for building, electrical appliances and kitchen utensils etc.
No.4	Polished with abrasive belt of grit #150-#180,have better brightness with discontinuous coarse stria, but thinner than No3, are used as bathtub buildings inner and external ornaments electrical appliances kitchen utensils and food processing equipment etc.
