Aluzinc Steel Coil, also as known as Galvalume Steel Coil, 55% Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil, is a corrosion-resistant metal material made from cold-rolled steel sheet as the base material, with a hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloy coating. The coating composition is approximately 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. It is widely used in construction, home appliances, automobiles, and industrial fields.

Features of Aluzinc Steel Coil:

1. Coating Composition: Aluzinc Steel Coil is composed of an aluminum-zinc alloy structure, which solidifies at 600℃ to form a dense quaternary crystalline alloy of aluminum, iron, silicon, and zinc. The coating mass percentage is approximately 55% Al, 43.4%-43.5% Zn, and 1.5%-1.6% Si.

2. Corrosion Resistance:

Aluzinc Steel Coil has three times the corrosion resistance of pure galvanized steel coil. The aluminum forms a dense alumina layer, preventing further corrosion.

It has edge protection functionality; zinc provides sacrificial protection at cut edges and scratches, while aluminum acts as a barrier.

Normal service life up to 25 years, proven by over 20 years of outdoor exposure testing.

3. Physical Properties:

Heat Reflectivity: Aluzinc Steel Coil has twice the heat reflectivity of galvanized steel sheet, with a reflectivity greater than 0.70, making it an ideal energy-saving building material.

Heat Resistance: Can withstand high-temperature environments of 300-315℃, suitable for chimney pipes, ovens, lighting fixtures, etc.

Processing Performance: Aluzinc Steel Coil has similar processing and painting performance to galvanized steel sheet, allowing for stamping, shearing, and welding. The coating and paint film have good adhesion, requiring no pretreatment before painting.

Appearance: The surface is silvery-white with beautiful zinc flowers and elegant star patterns, offering high decorative appeal.

4. Economic Efficiency: Because 55% Al-Zn has a lower density than pure zinc, under the same weight and coating thickness, Aluzinc steel sheet has an area more than 3% larger than galvanized steel sheet.
