Cold Rolled Steel Coil is a type of steel coil produced by continuous rolling at room temperature (below the recrystallization temperature) from hot-rolled pickled coils. It typically has a thickness of 0.2–4 mm, a smooth surface, and high dimensional accuracy (±3–5 μm), but high hardness and poor formability when unannealed.
DC01 Cold Rolled Steel Coil is a European standard cold rolled steel coil, equivalent to the Chinese standards Q195 and Q215, Japanese SPCC cold rolled steel coil, and German standard ST12 cold rolled steel coil. Its thickness ranges from 0.5 to 3 mm, with a tensile strength of 270 to 410 σb/MPa. It is primarily used for stamping applications.

Similar grades include SPCD (cold-rolled carbon steel sheets and strips for stamping), SPCE (cold-rolled carbon steel sheets and strips for deep drawing), SPCCK and SPCCCE (specialized steel for televisions), and SPCC4D and SPCC8D (hardened steels used in bicycle rims, etc.), each used in different applications.
